LaLa Land - Music On The Internet and More
Tonight Michael Wright and I did an all new episode of our live web cast Are You Really Experienced. We discussed a couple of great online sites for discovering music, LALA and GROOVESHARK. I recommend them both. You can listen to your iTunes library from anywhere or make your own playlist from millions of available songs. Steve Spalding from GrooveShark was our special guest and he had a lot of great input. You can download an MP3 of the episode or stream it below.

For those of you that have been wanting to hear some new music via the ObviousPopCast, fear not! Episode 13 is almost complete and should be posted in the next day or two.

hey tony,
thanks so much for the time and and interest--it means so much to us. i thoroughly enjoyed listening to the live stream, and if there's ever absolutely anything else we can do to help out--or if you'd just like to chat and muse about tech, music, or philosophy--definitely let me know and i'll be more than happy to oblige.

Hey Tony, do you know if there is a way to "follow" (ala Twitter) other users on Lala? It might be fun to keep an eye on what each other is listening to.
I absolutely love the new Asia record (hope you've heard Extraordinary Life) and was doing some Lala searches and found some absolutely beautiful stuff by Wetton and Downes in their Icon projects.
Buying the new Keane and Rundgren based on your recommendations. I also picked up Josh Fix and really like it....reminds me a bit of Chris Brown (Now That You're Fed).
Best,
Doug
