Finally! A new album by the hip popsters of rock is on it's way. Traffic and Weather is set to release on April 3rd with the first single "Someone to Love" set to hit in late February.

Waiting is the hardest part!
Friend, freak and musicologist Jim Worthen posted his Best of ’06 list (as a comment to my year-end list post HERE). His top ten included a release called Sing Song by The Little Ones. He had highly recommended it , not something he does lightly or often, so I picked it up. I absolutely love this CD. If The Shins were quirkier and rocked a bit harder with more hooks, this is what they might sound like. This album incorporates new wave influences, power pop and alternative rock. Great songwriting is the key to this EP, there’s not a bad banana in the bunch. The only downside is the length. Sing Song is an EP and I can’t wait for their first full-length release!
